Studio Maverik is a community-focused and inclusive art studio in Meanjin Brisbane. We facilitate life drawing classes, guided visual art workshops, art and makers markets and other creative industry events. All people are welcome and encouraged to attend our events. Come to chat, draw and learn in a vibrant and welcoming space!

OUR STORY

Studio Maverik was established in September 2021 with the goal of bringing a touch of vibrancy back to the local visual arts community after the pandemic. After both graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Art at Queensland College of Art, Frances and Rhianna founded Studio Maverik to facilitate life drawing and art events. Since opening, we have grown to run frequent sold-out events and have established a strong sense of community among young local creatives in Meanjin.
