Studio Maverik is a community-focused and inclusive pop-up art studio in Magandjin Brisbane. We facilitate both public + private pop-up Brisbane life drawing classes, exhibitions, creative event collaborations + partnerships, art markets and other creative industry events. All people are welcome and encouraged to attend our events ~ come to chat, draw and connect in a vibrant & welcoming space.
Studio Maverik is hosted by co-founders & local artists, Frances and Rhianna. We believe that art is for all, and it brings us together. Est 2021.

We love collaborating with like-minded brands, studios & businesses on creative events. We curate tailored pop-up events in collaboration with partners, such as still-life installations inspired by a product/theme, or events designed to activate a space and bring energy to the room. Meet Maverik Co-Founders, Frances & Rhianna
Frances (she/her) is a visual artist, marketing specialist and event facilitator born in Eora Sydney, based in Magandjin Brisbane. Frances has a Bachelor of Fine Art & Business (Drawing & Marketing). She adores all things aesthetic, illustrative and moody. Ask her about her fluffy cats, what fiction she’s reading and her latest pasta recipe obsession 𓇼
Rhianna (she/her) is a photographer, visual artist and event facilitator born in Mullumbimby, based in Magandjin Brisbane. Rhianna has a Bachelor of Fine Art (Drawing & Photography). She is obsessed with anything related to sensory design, film photography and social justice conversation. Ask her about her latest film camera finds, specialty matcha recipes and jack russells 𓃡
STILL LIFE ⟶ Studio Maverik curates still-life installations using found & made objects, creating a sensory platter to draw from. Installations are crafted to evoke the essence of a theme or story, creating an immersive space to observe and create within. LIFE DRAWING ⟶ Studio Maverik cultivates gently social, encouraging and atmospheric Brisbane life drawing sessions that all people can attend + enjoy. ART EVENTS ⟶ We curate various one-off art events, such as exhibitions + markets, so keep an eye out.
