Studio Maverik is a community-minded pop-up art studio based in Magandjin, Brisbane. We facilitate life drawing sessions, creative event collaborations, art markets & other creative industry events. Studio Maverik is run by two local artists, Frances & Rhianna. We believe that art is for all, and it brings us together.

Work With Us
Who We Are
We are run by two Magandjin artists, Frances & Rhianna. The two of us met studying Fine Art at QCA, and immediately connected over our mutual love of life drawing. We established Studio Maverik in 2021 to foster a creative ‘third space’ within our community, which we felt was missing after the pandemic. We both have a deep passion for what we do, and bring an exceptional level of consideration to our event curation and content creation.
Frances has a Bachelor of Fine Art & Business (Drawing & Marketing) and works as a marketing specialist, event facilitator and artist. Rhianna has a Bachelor of Fine Art (Drawing & Photography) and works as a photographer, event facilitator and artist.
